On the way to becoming a world leader: The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is one of the world's largest research institutions with outstanding international potential in the natural sciences and engineering. In addition to the FZI - Research Center for Information Technology, there are three Fraunhofer Institutes(ISI, IOSB and ICT), the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, the DHBW - Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, as well as the RPTU - Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University Kaiserslautern-Landau and the globally unique ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe. In the area of tomorrow's mobility, the Future Mobility Lab stands out - this is where smart mobility and transportation concepts of the future are developed, researched and evaluated.
