The network of the care alliance

The Karlsruhe TechnologyRegion Care Alliance was founded as a non-profit association on October 16, 2015 as a result of the Karlsruhe TechnologyRegion Skilled Workers Alliance.

The care alliance TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe brings together healthcare facilities, inpatient and outpatient nursing and care for the elderly, the education sector and other key players from politics and administration.

The members of the Karlsruhe TechnologyRegion Care Alliance want to work together to tackle the challenges facing society as a whole as a result of demographic change, an increasing need for care, a shortage of skilled workers and dwindling family care potential. In doing so, they want to make an active contribution to ensuring high-quality care in a strong regional alliance.

The Karlsruhe TechnologyRegion Care Alliance is committed to close, cross-agency networking and the development of joint solutions to the challenges in the care sector.

Common goals are in particular

  • the recruitment, promotion and retention of specialists in the regional care sector,
  • support for training and further education,
  • Measures to enhance the public perception of the profession,
  • joint public relations work and representation of interests,
  • cooperation with complementary institutions.
