In the course of developing the "Bioeconomy Strategy for the Karlsruhe TechnologyRegion", the optimization of high-quality material and cascading value creation in municipal biowaste disposal was identified as a central field of action.

The common goal is to convert the biogenic residual flows as completely as possible within the region in future - with economically and ecologically high-quality solutions. To this end, needs are identified, best practices are shared and measures for the development of necessary steps are developed.
